If you haven't played the regular Jeopardy! round, go back and play, then come back here after ward. Post your wager, either here or there, and make it either none, 1/4, 1/2 or all of your points. Remember that you can only bet points that you earned in the Jeopardy! game today, and I know that you don't know for sure how many that is, which is why I give fractions, rather than point values, for you to wager.
Today's Jeopardy! category is Friday the 13th.
Special event that happened on Friday, February 13, 1987 and Friday, October 13, 2000, and will happen again on Friday, September 13, 2019.

I'll bet it all.
Seems like it would be something astronomical. Eclipse, full moon, transit, something like that.
I should not have bet it all.
What is a solar eclipse?

Oh. I was alive for only one of these events, 2000, and that was back when I was young and foolish. I couldn't read yet, and I didn't pay attention. I will guess the following, because it seems scary and Friday-the-13ish to me:
What are New Moons?

I haven't known a Final J q yet in this qod, so I'll be keeping my points for myself, thank you very much. No wager.

A wise decision on my part.
Cowardly, but wise.
I could guess, but it'd just be a guess.
My guess might sound more foolish than my keeping my mouth shut, so the lip is zipped.

Guess what? Clicking a private message window takes away your reply box! I was in the middle of answering and I don't see that it posted, so if it shows up later, this is my official reply.

It has to be some sort of astrological event, so I will say an eclipse. If pressed, I will say lunar eclipse. 50/50/90, whee!

Crap, assuming everybody else is rifght,
I had talked myself into full moon and then decided that the private message taking away my reply beofre I could post it was fate so I switched back to eclipse because it was more exotic.

What is a full moon on Friday the 13th? !!!!! Thank you Mr. Noeth! I was in 6th grade.... er, I mean LB was in 6th grade in February 1987, and his teacher actually mentioned this oddity, and of course he remembered it since it had to do with his favorite day of the year! What a guy!
