It may as well be. Nickelodeon hasn't been worth watching in almost 2 decades....

ATA on the $16K question, otherwise no problems. And for some reason, I was leaning toward the right answer on the $16K. Since I haven't seen any of the movies involved, I must have subliminally absorbed that one's description from some source.

I would have asked for a claification - do they mean chronological age or emotional age?

It may as well be. Nickelodeon hasn't been worth watching in almost 2 decades....

I don't know where Cortland is, but even if he's a WE® he's a teacher and I root for teachers.

That's a real shame. As for me I thought it might be "A" but would have used ATA to confirm this because I wouldn't have been sure enough.

Another short article about Bill's appearance:

http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/ ... her_l.html
Lee said he doesn't regret the way it turned out: "I never played for the money but for the adventure."
And, although the Cortland Standard limits the availability of their articles on the web, I found this one from last November, just after he taped.

http://www.cortlandstandard.net/articles/11032007n.html
Cortland High School English teacher Bill Lee was always a “Jeopardy” guy, but this summer he started watching “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” with his wife and in-laws.
“Everyone would look at me, and I kept getting the answers right,” said Lee, 53, of Cortland.
He said his wife, 41-year-old Sandie, encouraged him to audition for the show. He did in September, and at the beginning of October he was accepted to be on the show.
He started watching last summer?

At least he watches the show. When I auditioned for DoND there were several who claimed to have never seen it, not that you need to glean any pertinent strategies from repeated viewings.

I was rooting for him because my paternal grandparents are buried in Cortland. I still have kin there.

I've seen it. The scene is so violent that it's difficult to really focus on the naughty bits.
