Drunks on my plane...yearning for MMFF

Two drunken 20 something Germans on my flight here...they were drinking in the departure lounge in the city I flew in from at 5:30am local time and were totally bombed, loud, obnoxious, and almost got tossed off the plane. The European Football (soccer) championships are going on and I'm thinking they were pounding back brew all night...I was desperately wishing for MMFF to be onboard.

Awww man! I haven't worked since December 27th, and I really miss my drunks. They're just so much fun to mess with.

[nostalgic tear]*sniff*[/nostalgic tear]

How was Germany? Did you have a (I know I'm gonna butcher the spelling) schweinhoxen? They sure know how to boil pig over there.

Those drunk Germans are probably crying by now that their team just lost to Croatia. It was like a funeral around here.

BTW where in Germany were you Buff?

Reminds me of the 45 year old guy on one of my flights to Vegas (that's CT - Vegas, 5+ hours) sitting across the aisle. Apparently after a few drinks, the only words he remembered were "Vegas Baby, Vegas!" which he spewed out every 30 seconds or so. I finally convinced the flight attendant to cut him off (even though he clearly didn't believe they were out of vodka)...but I still had to listen to it and it was pretty miserable and obnoxious. I feel your pain.

Poland just got robbed against Austria so the Germans are in good shape.

1. Croatia 6 pts +2 g.d.
2. Germany 3 pts +1 g.d.
3. Austria 1 pt -1 g.d.
4. Poland 1 pt -2 g.d.

Germany plays Austria and Poland plays Croatia in the final group game.

Germany would just need a tie against Austria to advance unless Poland beats Croatia by 4 goals. A 3 goal win would not quite be enough since Germany beat Poland in the first game. Both games will be played at the same time to avoid any shenanigans. Although Croatia might rollover for the Poles to try to help eliminate Germany, a four goal loss is not going to happen. And if Germany beats Austria, which should happen, then it wouldn't matter.

At least he could still speak.

My personal rule of thumb is that, unless you're being an ass, I'll serve you as long as you can walk and talk yourself through customs & immigration when we land. And if you're being an ass, I'll probably tell you you're being an ass and cut you off rather than pretend to be out of vodka. I can't stand when FA's do that...just be straight up. Even the worst drunks are smart enough not to buy that line.

After reading this I think I need a drink, or two.
