Am I the only one?

#1 Post by TheCalvinator24 » Mon Oct 29, 2007 5:20 pm

I keep having problems getting the Bored to load. Sometime, I just get the generic Safari "Unable to cnnect to the Server" thing, but a couple of times, I have gotten:
Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@wwtbambored.normalview.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I got something funny when I sat down ten minutes ago. I went to another page to make sure my ISP was working, and then came back, and it was fine.

Maybe the game thread is clogging up the works...

I've experienced this a few times a week. It usually fixes itself within a few minutes. I assumed it was a glitch in our hosting server.

Once in a while, the hosting server will hiccup a bit. Nothing to worry about.

However, if lots of people (or everyone) should have trouble getting to the site for extended periods of time at any point, please let me know, so I can make sure that the hosting company is properly chastised. :)

I have problems at work but I would suspect, in part, that's because I'm not supposed to be playing on the Bored at work.
