Nevernude west.....

That was the KuschUlyKusch team name tonight at live bar trivia at Joxer Daleys. Lot's of trivia but first, who can name the play that the character Joxer Daley is featured? And who can name the TV show where there is a character named "Nevernude"?
Enough of that. The Kusch clan was in southern California for a family reunion. Dave and his daughter wanted to play trivia so they drove up from Orange County to play with me. We trailed the entire game but were within striking distance until the final question. The category was tv. The question was "what is the longest running soap opera on tv? It is second in longevity to Meet the Press".
Guiding Light which we got right for first place and $50. That would just about pay for their gas to get back to the OC.

"Nevernude" is one of Tobias's many quirks on "Arrested Development". I don't know about this Joxer person.

I guess I could post spoilers on the other two q's.
Never-nude is a character (Tobias) on Arrested Development. He wears tight fitting cut-off levis. All the time. Even to shower. I don't much more about the character than that.
Joxer Daley is a character in the Sean O'Casey play, Juno and the Paycock.

Thanks Dan it was a lot of fun. Jenny made a comment on the drive back to Westminster along the lines of "that Dan sure knows his trivia".

She said she had a lot of fun and even text messaged her other regular Nevernude teammates on the drive home to tell them of the NevernudeWest victory.
And for those wondering, yes Dan and Jenny were the main cogs, I was able to give a "confirmation" of an answer, often, sometimes, every now and then,...... maybe.
Well, just home for a quick lunch after playing 18 holes of golf. I am on the way to the Long Beach Bridge Club for their 12:30 game.
Another 6:30AM tee time at Miles Square tomorrow and Wednesday. This may be the only day of bridge.

Actually, it's "Mile Square," which is the name and dimensions of the park in which it is situated. It is located in Fountain Valley, which, curiously, has neither.

Played again at Mile Square yesterday followed up with another bridge game in Long Beach. Golf has been non good but happy I was able to play.
Scratched in the bridge game again yesterday placing in A playing with a good but kinda gruff partner.
Bridge peoples, playing 2/1, I open 1C LHO bids 1H and partner bids 2D, is that game force? Also, I am dealer and Pass, pass 1H(pard) pass and I now bid 2C, is that game force? In both examples I say no or at least that is the 2/1 I play. Yesterday, my partner said in both cases both were game force bids. Comments?
Turns out on Monday my partner and I finished 1st in C and 3rd in B. We had a 55% game.
Guess not much happening in SoCal today, no golf and maybe no bridge. Wives are heading over to Santa Anna for the Terra Cotta Warriors (sp?) exhibit. I will take some naps.

I also play them both as non-game force.
