My son has played baseball with Kyle Gaedele since he was 9 years old. He's a big strong right-handed pitcher and outfielder as well as 3rd baseman. He hit .440 with 7 HR, 28 RBI, 8 triples, 15 doubles. fast runner too.

Today he got drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays!

and best of all he's a wonderful kid. he'll be someone to watch.

(also he's the great-nephew by Eddie Gaedele. a great baseball trivia question in the making)

Congratulations. I believe I mentioned Eddie in one of my gratuitous posts.

you would, Uly! I held Eddie's bat in my hands. It's about 18" long. They've given his uniform to the baseball hall of fame.

I figure Beast would love this connection.

went to Kyle's graduation party yesterday. I carried a MLB and pen to be the first to ask him for his autograph. but alas, grandpa had already beaten me to the punch. . .
