QoD 06/06/08 Jeopardy! Friday Famous Addresses

Back to the beginning with another edition of Jeopardy! Remember to respond in the form of a question. Point values are as listed, and I will put the Daily Double in another message with a spoiler, to try to cut down on inadvertent exposure. (Hear me, BeeMan?) Today’s category is fairly simple: The clue is a famous address of a real or fictional person. You supply (in question form, of course) the name of the person who famously lived there.

4 pts: 221B Baker Street, London, England

8 pts: #4 Privet Drive, Little Whinging

12 pts: 124 Conch Street, Bikini Bottom

16 pts: 705 Hauser Street, Queens, NY

20 pts: 112 Mercer Street, Princeton, New Jersey

Hmmmm....the Bunkers lived at 704 Hauser, IIRC. 705 would be across the street unless that's a typo. Who are Jeffersons? Mike & Gloria? Stretch Cunningham? If 705 is a typo, then, the who are Bunkers?

20 pts: 112 Mercer Street, Princeton, New Jersey

Who is Einstein?

When I was typing the DD question, I had a sick feeling that as I was contemplating whether you were doing trick questions and felt the need to put in comments to CYA that I ended up forgetting my questioning.

I'm thinking we probably can't edit just to put in questions marks, but I thought I'd ask for future reference. I'm hoping that, judging from last week, everybody gets ONE mulligan on the question thing?

In that case, I'd like a mulligan for not using a surname in one of my answers. Although the person is much better known by the first name than the surname. And the J! judges would probably give me credit for the answer. Even without Alex's running over to their desk to plead for my honor.

I didn't mean one mulligan for anything, just for the question phrasing. Unless you can go back and edit to change it and I just missed that part in the rules. Which is why I asked.

However, I don't that you have to worry about it one way or the other. Between just "Spongebob" and just "Squarepants" I'd think Spongebob would be the more acceptable one, so ficitional characters are opposite of real life characters. Unlike, if you'd said "Who is Bob". I'm almost embarassed that I know Squidward and Patrick's last names. Unless it comes up in a later QOD, then I'm proud of it. ha!
