Larry Anderson will make a special "guest appearance" by telephone in this coming week's edition of "Anyone Can Play" that will be substitute-hosted by Stu Shostak and co-hosted by Christopher Bay. Larry continues to make terrific progress with his hip surgery recovery. We're happy to announce that he will indeed be on board in the studio for the final three broadcasts of our interactive telephone game show for this season, and they're all special editions:

June 17-23: An "All Ladies Champions" Edition featuring four previous female winners;

June 24-30: A "Teens Edition" with all of the contestants between the ages of 13 and 18 years old;

and the final show of the season -

July 1-6: A "Celebrity Edition" with comedy writer MARK EVANIER, game show authority STEVE BEVERLY, and both WINK and SANDY MARTINDALE! Wink and Sandy have appeared as celebrity contestants on TV game shows such as "Tattletales" in the past, but this will be the first time they are appearing in a "question and answer" type game. We're very excited about the season finale, so we hope you'll tune in for this, as well as the other special shows Monday through Saturday at 6:00 p.m. PDT / 9:00 p.m. EDT.

We would like to continue the series in the fall, and we are tweaking the game slightly in preparation - the show will be LIVE as it originally was in its early days when creator Ron Greenberg hosted, but next season it will be on a "once-a-month" basis, so it will be more like an event. New playing elements are going to be added, including a phone-in segment that will allow one lucky listener to not only win a great prize, but also a spot as a regular contestant for the next month's live broadcast. In addition, the bonus round, "Call Larry's Bluff" will be an all-cash affair, with a potential $100 top pay-out! However, in order to continue the program, we need NEW contestants! Yes, if you've already played, you're registered for life and we could call you again. But please tell your friends and family that we'd like them to play, too. Please point them to shokusradio.com and have them click on the GAME SHOW REGISTRATION button to sign up. The more new contestants we get, the longer the show can continue...and the better chances you have of being on the show once again to try for the $100 jackpot. We thank all of you who have played and who continue to listen to the show!
