I looked for non-U.S. sources in case that helps. I find AP pretty much trustworthy but maybe this will work better if you don't like them.

As I understand it, the current story is that she was asked (I think by Nita Lowry), at either a meeting or conference call of New York's Democratic congressional representatives, whether she would accept the vice presidential spot if it were offered to her. This is not news, in my estimation. She has been saying this for a while. I didn't check the overseas links you gave me, but is there any reason to assume they aren't using AP as their source? Or the same source as AP? I really don't trust much of any of the news media anymore, but AP has been particularly bad since Rupert Murdoch and Sam Zell joined their board of directors.

I see Fox News as often too far right, and the NY Times sometimes as too far left, but I have thus far been able to trust AP. But I mostly don't read hard news except Time magazine, so I am not the best judge. Also I trust people pretty far. I had not realized AP had a management change, though. Worth keeping an eye out.

I think it would be suicide (literally) for Obama to accept Hillary as his VP.
Not accusing anybody of anything, but throughout the Clinton's political career there have been a number of convenient deaths. Perhaps they are just lucky.

I, for one, don't trust Hillary to be VP cuz she's just power-hungry enough to do something that would make her become president. Conspiracy types suggested that this is why Nixon picked Agnew for his VP.
Your power-hungry comment is interesting. It seems to me, sometimes, that one reason to disqualify someone for the Presidency is that he/she really really really wants it (all too often, for the wrong reasons); I'd much rather have a President who is doing it because he/she has to (like Washington), or who is called to it because the times require it (like Lincoln).

I'm tired of even thinking about it. I feel defeated. I'll vote for whichever candidate will lower gas prices. I paid $4.39/gallon today.
