I don't believe that either of them have ever acknowledged that they are gay. At least not to a slavering public like that of Lohan's dreams.
I might be wrong about this, because I don't pay that much attention to Lindsay Lohan, but I have a feeling that her orientation is more along the lines of Look at me! Look at me! I doubt she'd announce anything, because that would end all the speculation (such as there is) and attention. GLBT is fashionable (the LB more so than the GT), so she's working it.
There was no lesbian chic in McNichol and Foster's day. But, even if there were, I'm not sure if would have changed anything for them.
