The single best musical performance I have seen was Bo Diddlley in the late 1980s at a small club in Chicago. He will be missed.

I heard Bo Diddley play at least 20 years ago in the bar of what then was the local Holiday Inn. He was drinking Scotch and milk, taking care of his ulcer.

Can't say I was a huge fan, but that "Bo Diddley beat" inspired an awful lot of songs.

Today, a local radio station did a 20-minute medley of songs with the Bo Diddley beat. Very cool.
