A true visionary of the industry.
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.
~~ Thomas Jefferson

War is where the government tells you who the bad guy is.
Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.

I remember one night when Mrs. SSS and I went to the movies at the same time as Ted Turner. It was bitter cold and nasty weather, so I was standing in line outside the theater at the ticket window. It was the Tara Theater, which showed art and independent films, but I don't remember what we went to see. Anyway, Ted showed up with his then-wife, Jane Fonda, and his two grown daughters from his first marriage. Mrs. SSS and the women waited in the lobby where it was warm while I stood in line for tickets. The ticket taker wanted to let Ted go ahead of me, but he insisted I was there first so I should get my tickets first. He was a really nice, classy guy.

Needless to say, Mrs. SSS was thrilled by her brush with celebrity (Jane Fonda) in the lobby while I was freezing my butt off outside.
