Here's the deal:
I won a 4th place prize in a sweepstakes sponsored by AMF. I have a certificate for an AMF Gear Pack, which consists of an Xtreme bowling ball (available in 3 different swirly-color combos of green/blue/yellow, pink/purple, or black/red/white and your choice of weight 6/8/10/12/14/15/16 lbs), a single ball bag (choice of color combo purple&black or red&black), and a bowling towel (color not stated).
The certificate needs to be redeemed by 6/30/08. It has a place to put in the name and address of the redeemer, so it looks like it can be used by anyone.
Since I don't bowl, I thought I'd offer it up to any interested BB. First public reply to this post gets it. Just send me a PM with your name and address, and I'll mail the certificate to you. After you have redeemed the certificate and received the prize, then you can mail me a check for what you think is a fair bargain for yourself and fair reward for me. The listed retail value of the pack in the sweepstakes rules is $90.

Silly question: Why did you enter if you don't bowl?
I once won a bowling ball playing bar trivia. I had a heck of a time giving it away as it was purple.

1. It's a sweepstakes, silly! That's only slightly less irresistable than a trivia contest.
2. He won 4th prize. Maybe the 1st-3rd prizes were things he really wanted.

Yeah, maybe first place was a week's stay at the Bowling Hall of Fame........second place was two weeks.

Hey! Don't be hating on the Bowling Hall of Fame. I used to stop by there all the time when I was playing at Busch Stadium and bowl a few frames. I was the only one they'd roll out the gutter bumpers for....

The Bowling Hall of Fame is in St. Louis. Should I feel like a total dork that I know that?

Fabulous. Quick, somebody tell me where the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame is?
I used to not only know the names of all the bowlers on the Tour (ABC and WIBC), but what kind of equipment they used. At least I'm not
that bad anymore.

I was there years ago. I loved the diorama of the cavemen bowling with rocks as you first walk in.

As usual, Marley is correct. The bigger prizes included electronics stuff.

You don't bowl? You sound like one of them Obama-loving elitists or something.
Bet you don't even wear an American flag lapel pin, and like to hang out with the Communists and what not.
I swannee.

Another reason for fanny not to totally feel like a dork.... by the end of the year that'll be the wrong answer.
The Bowling Hall of Fame is going to move to Dallas by year's end. They have sold out to the Cardinals, so they can use the land to expand the currently bustling fishing hole they call Ballpark Village. Well, maybe in a few years, they'll be able to attract the Pro Fishing Hall of Fame to the crater that was once Busch Stadium II....

I have been bowling on the new Wii, and got five strikes in a row today.
I also love the baseball game, and the tennis just completely wears me out.
I tried the golf today, and got on the green in two shots on a par 5, but then the putting is very hard with that little remote. I may skip that for a while, and get on with boxing, which I liked the one time I tried it.
Thus far I have resisted the $180 Wii Fit, but roomie saw an ad for $80 units. They are for our new Best Buy, which I don't like, and they are probably only selling 2-3 units at that price, just to get you in the store. But it's not far, so maybe we can check it out soon. That sucker looks way cool, with strength training and balance and all that on one disc and a thing to stand on.
