I am very sorry I missed ....

I am very sorry I missed 2525 Fortnight 5.
We had just gotten back from Paris and, the day before the contest started, I gave the cousins' eulogy for my cousin Jeannie.
Jeannie is a year younger than I am. She loved music and travel and dancing. She had a headache and didn't wake up the next day.
When another cousin's daughter called me to tell me about Jeannie, I was looking at the Eiffel Tower. We decided that was appropriate because every time I talked with Jeannie, we always touched on travel. Where we were going, where we wanted to go, where we have been.
I spoke about the sheer joy on Jeannie's face when she was the first one on the dance floor. We were in kindergarten and first grade when we first took over the dance floor.
I never got back into a frame of mind until I checked on the movie quiz. We were too far into Fortnight by then.
Please keep Jeannie in your hearts - there are many people who will miss her every day.
