Aplogize if this has been posted before. But I just saw that there is an anthology from a bunch of writers of tales set in the universe of King's "The Stand."

Woohoo.

I read the original when it came out and the long new version when we moved here.
Plus, Wayne Brady! Let's make a deal! Love it.

Finished first installment. Very King-like and creepy. Think this'll be good.

Good-I haven't got to it yet-but soon. I may also be drawn to re-read The Stand.

I bought the Kindle version and, probably to no one's surprise-I have a somewhat anal reading pattern-especially with Kindle books.

I am not quite sure how many analog books I am currently reading-but it is a fair number.

However, with Kindle books I always have 3 going. Usually #1 and #3 are non-fiction and #2 is fiction or a fun read.

I will generally read either a chapter (or 10%) of book #1 whichever makes the most sense. Currently #1 is "The Interesting History of the Zambezi River." I do 10% chunks of this book.

Then I read a reasonable amount of Book #2 which is the fun book. As I am reading Book 10 in the Casca the Eternal Mercenary series (The Conquistador) 2 chapters of a Casca works pretty well.

Then I read some of Book #3-this book is currently "While israel Slept: How Hamas Surprised the Most Powerful Army in the Middle East." It looks like this one will be best read in 10% chunks-then I read 2 chapters of the Casca-then back to book # 1 and rinse and repeat.

When I finish this Casca-"The Stand" anthology book will be in that place and it looks like each story will be a natural break.

I know-I way overanalyze this-but me is me-I guess.
