We were lucky to attend 1992 Olympics in Albertville, due to Jeff's most excellent managerial/sales skills.

This was, of course, before Kodak fucking tanked. There are books about that...
Anyway, it was one of the most amazing company trips we had. Especially opening ceremonies, which were weird cirque du soleil things.
Here's the jacket we got along with other swag.

Cool!

That was the last time the Summer and Winter Olympics were held in the same year. The Winter Olympics were held again in 1994 to offset them, and that was the Nancy Kerrigan-Tonya Harding Olympics.

It was unbelievable. We were on the front row feeling torch heat and weird bubble people and hanging folks. Unreal.

Future 2525 event:

A future BB and her corporatiion-killing husband attend the Winter Olympics in a European city.
Name the Olympic city.
Name the BB.
Name the camera film-producing corporation her husband killed.
Name each item of swag they managed to pilfer (no points for jacket).

Well, that escalated quickly.

Olympic stuff is cool. My bro was a torch-carrier for the 2006 Winter Olympics - he got the "opportunity" to purchase a replica of the torch; it's in a display cabinet at his house. It's lovely.
Bro-in-law did some video for the same Olympics and got me one of those Root berets. It looks fab on me.

I have only circumstantial evidence at this point-but we might have a serial killer of companies on our hands.

I think you will agree with me that the dots connect pretty conclusively.

Jeff-who has been proven to have killed Kodak ( dot-dot-dot-dot)--Houston area (dot-dot-dot-dot)--ENRON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am trying to figure out, are we going to use this discussion to talk about the winter Olympics or should we do a separate discussion for the winter Olympics since this was mostly about someone's jacket.

I only posted this to highlight our personal experience in Albertville including getting our jackets. Please feel free to start a new thread.

I'm guessing there may be several Olympic threads since as how there are several events involved and all.
