Thunderbolt & Lightfoot Remake

Ryan Reynolds is planning to remake and star in the Clint Eastwood/Jeff Bridges 70s crime film Thunderbolt & Lightfoot, one of my favorites from that period. Presumably, he would play the Jeff Bridges role. (Bridges got an Oscar nomination for his performance.) Hugh Jackman is rumored to be the favorite for the Clint Eastwood role, since Jackman and Reynolds had a big recent hit in Deadpool & Wolverine.
