Fucking Dodgers....

I was really pulling for your guys, Sauce! Besides the Spawn of Bichette, I was telling everybody at bingo about my friend in Canada and I wanted this so bad for her!!

Meanwhile can somebody explain how that pitcher can also be a dh in the same game? I didn't realize until recently that the dh was universal now (I know, I know...) but how can you stay in the game as the dh if you've been pulled from the mound?

Sharing smokes and a cup of joe with my friend, Insouciant Ruffian. Good times!

It's generally known as the Ohtani Rule. If the STARTING pitcher is also the DH, he can stay in the game as the DH after leaving the mound. That rule doesn't apply to relief pitchers, which is a big reason Ohtani was the starting pitcher today. --Bob
