TiVo has officially stopped selling its DVR device, which debuted in 1999. The company's last new model, the Edge DVR was released in 2019, and manufacturing ceased on September 30. The company issued a statement saying that it will still provide product support for existing units.

I bought my first Tivo DVR 25 years ago, and got a new one just last month. So I’m among their first and last customers.
