George Clooney confirmed that preliminary production is proceeding on another sequel to his popular Ocean's 11 franchise. The most recent film in the series, Ocean's 13 was made in 2007. (A spinoff entitled Ocean's 8 with Sandra Bullock as the Clooney character's sister and an all-female heist crew was made in 2018.) Co-stars from the original film Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, and Julia Roberts will also appear. Two actors who will not appear are Bernie Mac and Carl Reiner, who have since died.

Another Ocean's movie starring Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie and set in Europe in the 1960s is also in production. It's unclear what relation, if any, these characters have with the characters in the Clooney film.
