Well, I'm back after a 9000 mile road trip through 15 states, 12 national parks, a cruise down to Cabo San Lucas, two days at the Disney parks in California, Sedona, Santa Fe, and finally home. The only problem occurred last Sunday - elwing hit something on the highway (Turner Turnpike, for those in the know) and knocked out all of the utility functions such as cruise control, lane guide, AWD, to the tune of $6000 in repairs.
A few quick observations:
1. There is a big difference between the way that the Canadian national parks treat the stories of the indigenous (First Nation) people and the way the US parks do, and this was before the presidential executive order.
2. I didn't see as many American flags on display in places where I thought I would (Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota) and very few were at half mast.
3. There are a LOT of Teslas on the roads in Los Angeles, and traffic is as bad as everyone says.
4. I didn't hear the Taos hum.
5. There is a very broad understanding of what constitutes an ADA-compatible room.

Re: I have seen America
Give yourself some credit. You could easily hit something on the Turner Turnpike and knock out all the important utility functions.
