College Media Association Pinnacle Awards

#1 Post by danielh41 » Tue Aug 26, 2025 4:46 pm

Last fall I was interviewed by two school newspapers regarding my 40 years as an art model. I learned that both of those stories are finalists for the College Media Association’s Pinnacle Awards for Profile Story. The good news is that they are not competing with each other. The one from the University of Texas at Arlington’s Shorthorn is a finalist for both Profile Story and Portrait photography in the Division I (enrollment 10,000+) universities division — https://www.theshorthorn.com/life_and_e ... 5feda.html

The story in the Brookhaven Courier is a finalist for Best Profile Story in the two-year college division — https://brookhavencourier.com/112093/ar ... -exposure/

I think the winners are announced in October.

Now that you're a celebrity, can I get your autograph?

Ha! I’m only a celebrity in certain circles.
