SEC mistakenly plays 'Aggie War Hymn' introducing Texas' Steve Sarkisian at Media Days
Texas is Texas A&M's biggest rival. Excessively so, to the point that our War Hymn (not fight song, we don't have one of those) refers to Texas in its opening lyric "Goodbye to Texas University, so long to the orange and the white." For Texas, A&M is a rival, but more like a bothersome little brother. They will tell you Oklahoma is their biggest rival. But they get their most joy from beating us, in any sport...which they do much too often.
So this is truly hillarious, that at SEC media day, as Steve Sarkisian, the Texas head coach, is introduced and walks out on stage, they play the Aggie War Hymn.
