WWTBAM Bored

This one should make Bosch fans happy. Madison Lintz, who played Harry Bosch's daughter, who aged from a teenager to a mid-20s cop over the course of Bosch and Bosch Legacy, will play Eve Ronin, a new streaming series (probably on Amazon Prime). The series is based on a series of novels by Lee Goldberg (who sent me a thank you note for my review of his last book, in which Ronin showed up). Ronin is the youngest female detective in the history of the LAPD, who is resented by her male colleagues except for her partner, whose nickname is Donuts (for reasons that will probably be obvious when the show airs). That resentment increases when a network starts a TV series called Ronin, based on her cases, and the series films in and around LAPD headquarters.

It's a great meta concept and a good character and series. (I don't know if this version of the show will include the series within the series aspect of the books.)
