Film composer best known for the Mission: Impossible theme who also worked on over 100 other movies and TV shows, including The Cincinnati Kid, Cool Hand Luke, Bullitt, Dirty Harry, and Rush Hour. He was nominated for six Oscars and is one of only three composers to win an honorary Oscar.
