If you were a fan of the 1981 version with Alan Alda and Carol Burnett, this one gives off similar vibes. It's obviously updated quite a bit, but the group dynamics are similar. Alda even makes a cameo. We set out last night to watch just the first couple of episodes (there are 
, but we couldn't stop and just binged the whole thing in one evening. TW for some: there are several scenes of a male gay couple openly expressing affection, if that kind of thing bothers you.
Also recommended: the new season of 24 in 24, yet another cooking challenge show, but we love those; and The Last of Us, part II. We were going to wait until all the episodes had dropped to start watching, but found we couldn't wait.
