Hall of Fame defensive end on the Chicago Bears teams of the 1980s, whom Mike Ditka called the toughest player he ever coached. After his football career ended, he spent several years as a professional wrestler. McMichael died of ALS and his induction ceremony into the Hall of Fame, attended by many of his former teammates, was one of its most touching presentations.
