We need a White Hot Glare Prayer here

A request. Prayers. Prayers. Prayers.
I think I might have mentioned my actor/writer friend Jonah here before. He is originally from Liberia and we worked on a couple of movies together. He shows up on Law & Order as foreign embassy staff and doormen and such.
He also has a very good screenplay about a woman in SW Philly's Liberian community who has escaped strife in the Liberian civil war of 1999-2003. Or did she? And how will justice be meted, if at all.
Because English is not his first language, I worked with him on the script. Mostly for tenses (screenplay action must be in the present tense - no gerunds or gerundives or past tenses) and synonyms.
It was on track to become a low-budget SAG/AFTRA movie with some terrific local actors.
That was put on hold when Jonah's son Joseph was murdered almost two years ago. A random shooting of a half-dozen people in the Kingsessing section of the city.
Jonah wasn't home - he was in NYC. He came home and found Joseph. The first person shot in the rampage and the last one found.
Jonah's still battles depression/ He is going back to Liberia until late fall - he will return in November for an early December trial. SAG/AFTRA, in addition to providing money to move to a new apt in Philly, is helping with the journey home. Meanwhile, I will work on a second screenplay of his, in memory of Joseph.
Please think good thoughts for a good man, a good actor and a fine writer. He is my friend and he loves his buddy Boonie.
