I have run across this nugget of information a few times and I find it endlessly fascinating. I may have even posted it awhile back-but so what.
Apparently, large herds of eland (the largest African antelope antelope) show up in the Zambezi River Delta floodplains for a few months at a certain time of the year.
But the fun part is that nobody has any idea where they are in the meantime. They just show up.
