I've gotten extremely tired of watching fictional TV series. I'm much more of a fan of true series, e.g., History Channel.
I was a big fan of "Suis" but have recently started watching "Suits LA." It is some of the best writing I've ever seen on broadcast TV,
I highly recommend it.

I watched the first few episode of the original. It was O.K. Too much the same old gotcha-soap-operaish scripting, IMO.
We just finished season 1 of Severence. I was unimpressed after two episodes, but then got into it. Hooked on it now.

I did not until I saw your post and then I recorded ep3-6 the next day. actually I love how they joke around on the shows. it just so great and grants a giggle most the time. I hope we get to see the funeral because I can imagine that's gonna go over big.
I have been watching it over the last few weeks and you are correct that they did a great job with these characters. I cannot wait to see you next weekend what happens with that whiskey. it was funny watching the dungeons and dragons blow up in the guys face.
I thought the whiskey scene in ep8 might be earlier and I was trying to write how I did not notice it thinking I might have missed it but then it finally came 58 minutes in. it was not written as nicely as I thought it was going to be but still was good. heck in the whiskey seen earlier (The "pretty boy" scene) where he busts in in the middle was better written. ep8 was a great episode overall and I am going to record episode 9 but it seems that they are about to jump the shark. (in the put a ridiculous stunt sense of the phrase, not the run out of things to come up with sense) where they become vigilantes.
some episodes later, I know I mentioned it up there but I really go just repeat I enjoy the back and forth between these main characters back-and-forth so so much. I just talk to the TV says variations of yeah you got that, that's exactly perfect.(but never in those exact words) that Batman joke was also hilarious and the comment the moment he was about to leave ,just the distance was just added everything and above.
I enjoyed episode 9 but I think I am going to end watching it here. not because I dislike episode because it was amazing episode because I think this was a good spot to end it. granted one thing was confusion was he hallucinating though other guy from the diner (The guy he seems to live with as a related roommate that they said it would be ok drinking pineapple juice) that we saw so many scenes, that I was not sure of but we thought he was real for quite a few episodes, if you never saw the previous series at least. other then that it was great.
