Bands by number of members Tuesday (or something like that) is up to number five, so it's time to roll out the quintets! This is where things start getting a little hairy, as bands of this size tend to undergo a number of lineup changes, sometimes adding or subtracting their number of members in the process (I'm looking at YOU, Beach Boys). So at the very least, I think I can say these groups were all at least quintets for some time, and their best known roster had five members.

Image Bonus: Gimme five!

This was a fun one, because it reminded me so much of what hooked me on keeping the Image Bonus the year I first experimented with it. So many fun and unique references to five! Sprots may be stinking up the joint, but her critters won my heart over, so she gets the IBB! And each and every one of those cuties better get scritches...

mrk gets 2 JJC points for New Edition once again screwing him over, and for humpday squirrels...

mikeh gets a JJC point for superheroes on lead paint...

Weasel gets a supermax for what was quite possibly the most disgusting Image Bonus in its ten year history...

elwood gets 2 JJC points for the '93 Suns. Chuck's a gimme, but I was disappointed in myself I could remember one other (the white guy, of course)...

Sprots gets a supermax for ten scritchable critters...

ear gets 2 JJC points for the world's largest home plate...

frank gets 2 JJC points for that cool lightning bolt text icon, and because Agatha was into numbers like Sue Grafton was to letters...

melly gets a JJC point for a bunch of annoying brats...

Search gets 3 JJC points for one of my former Thursday pastimes...

Vandal gets 2 JJC points for some guy who thinks he's cooler than Gale Gilbert, who got five losing Super Bowl rings....... CONSECUTIVELY!

But you want me to give scritches to a polar bear??????????? Or a beaver? Beavers can knock a tree down in a matter of minutes, can you imagine what they could do to a tibia??????????
