I've got a training class at 9 this morning for new employees; I'm supposed to show them how to correctly complete a particular report. I hope this will cut down on the problems that I've been having to deal with (incorrect data, for instance).

I was trying to embed this - but I'm too stoopid.
But ear's post made me think of this recent Dilbert strip which I enjoyed

Good luck with that. Why didn't they get the training from someone before they started on the reports?
Is it just me, or does this sound like a Dilbert comic strip to anyone else?

I'm supposedly the SME (subject matter expert) on this particular report. As to why training was not provided earlier, it's a simple matter of time management - they throw new employees in and give them OJT, usually from someone who understands the procedures, but not always. Sometimes it's "the blind leading the blind".
