I probably wouldn't have posted this, because I realize most people here didn't know Jeff Baena or his work, and many don't know Aubrey Plaza. However, I'm posting regularly on Twitter now to promote my website, and there have been a flood of crude comments posted about Baena's death. Many of them are of the "Wow, Aubrey Plaza is single again" variety. I've heard little about Jeff Baena before this and not much about Aubrey Plaza's personal life. From what I heard, they had a good marriage and worked closely professionally. But she and the rest of his family don't deserve this disgusting bilge that's out there on social media. I doubt any of them would appreciate similar comments if one of their loved ones had just died, especially in such a fashion.

Sorry, this just got to me and I had to vent. (I've got a vent scheduled on Twitter as well.)
