Meth Gator.
It's big enough to swallow a person whole, and when it swallows a meth stash left by drug dealers fleeing a raid, it gets hooked and spends the rest of the movie looking for more meth. There's a "super lab" somewhere in the swamp, and if the gator gets hold of that, it could mutate into a nastier version that's even tougher to kill. As it is, the gator can run on land at very fast speeds by hopping along on all fours. It can also climb a cell tower while chasing a drug dealer.
And did I mention that despite the gator being on the loose, the mayor doesn't want to warn away the tourists who are gathering for the annual Memorial Day celebration? What an original idea. I'm surprised nobody thought of that storyline earlier.
Some of the actors look like they're reading their lines from off-camera cue cards. However, the creature effects aren't bad for such a low budget film.
The movie is on Tubi and Hoopla (without ads, if you have access to Hoopla).
