We're getting rain!

Our yearly rainfall is close to average but that is because we haven’t had any significant rainfall in two months.

You got yours in buckets...

We're getting our first rain in a month.

Yay!

This is the first year I can remember (at least, in a long time) that we actually got a significant "spring" as in, we didn't go from deep winter in March to 90 degrees in April, but rather had a prolonged period of mild 50s 60s and 70s, gradually warming up into summer, and now we are actually getting a real fall. Our trees are still turning colors, no snow as yet (except in high elevations) and mild temps - i think we've only hit 32 once so far. I'm a big fan of having all four seasons. It was always been my favorite thing about living here.

That's where we were. We've got a decent amount in last couple days.

We had 4" of snow just ten miles from here.

If the tropical storm comes this way, well...no snow
