Our yearly rainfall is close to average but that is because we haven’t had any significant rainfall in two months.

Yay!
This is the first year I can remember (at least, in a long time) that we actually got a significant "spring" as in, we didn't go from deep winter in March to 90 degrees in April, but rather had a prolonged period of mild 50s 60s and 70s, gradually warming up into summer, and now we are actually getting a real fall. Our trees are still turning colors, no snow as yet (except in high elevations) and mild temps - i think we've only hit 32 once so far. I'm a big fan of having all four seasons. It was always been my favorite thing about living here.

We had 4" of snow just ten miles from here.
