Screw Frank. I'll answer the question. This is not the Scrabble game show that America asked for. Nothing like the classic Scrabble from the 1980s and 1990s. Boring, boring, boring. A real Scrabble game is way more exciting.

On a related note, the new Trivial Pursuit game show was also boring, but slightly more interesting than Scrabble.

I've never seen it, so I can't answer that question. But I'm sure it is NOTHING like a real competitive Scrabble game. How could it be?

What you call the "classic Scrabble from the 1980s and 1990s" had nothing to do with real Scrabble and I hated it. Here's what a friend of mine from the Scrabble world posted today:

"The rules of the game were authentic. Some game shows have a history of using a familiar title and then the show is unlike the actual game, but I thought they did a good job being true to historic Scrabble."
