My favorite role of his was Admiral Fitzwallace on The West Wing.

I loved Amos in Coming to America where he played Cleo McDowell, a fast-food restaurant owner (and father of Eddie Murphy's girlfriend-to-be) who hires Murphy and Arsenio Hall to work in his restaurant. He ripped off McDonalds trademarks to use them in his restaurant, which he called McDowells. Amos reprised the role a couple of years ago in Coming 2 America, the sequel.
