Hall of Fame 7'2" center who played 18 NBA seasons for six different teams. He was best known for his trademark gesture of wagging his finger at an opposing player whenever he blocked a shot. He ranks second all-time in the NBA for career blocked shots. After his retirement, he became known for his philanthropic measures and as an ambassador for the NBA. Mutombo was diagnosed two years ago with brain cancer.

His years playing for the Denver Nuggets were incredible. The energy was spectacular. I'm sad he's gone so early.
