Actor best known for playing the veteran policeman who, along with his younger partner, Judge Rheinhold, worked with Eddie Murphy in the Beverly Hills Cop movies, including this year's Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F. He played cop roles in many other films and TV shows as well.
