RIP Mercury Morris

Star running back for the Miami Dolphins in the 1970s, including the 1972 undefeated Super Bowl champions. In his first pro game, he had a 105-yard TD kickoff return against Cincinnati, which is still the Miami team record for longest KO return.

I enjoyed watching him as a kid. I was a huge bandwagon fan of the 1972 Dolphins and for a few years after that.

On a realated note, I'm in Fort Lauderdale for a business meeting. Last night we chartered a water taxi to cruise the intercostal waterway and to take us to dinner. The ride took us by Don Shula's former home which still had some dolphin statues.

I took a couple pictures of a couple super yachts and the water way In general. Wish I had taken one of his house and the statutes.

This made me wryly chuckle a bit. We all regret not taking various pictures-yours is a house and statues; mine is that I did not take pictures of the sour milk store in Namibia.-LOL
