Stupid Sleeping Injury

#1 Post by Spock » Fri Sep 20, 2024 2:19 pm

Probably one of the least interesting and most embarrassing ways to hurt your shoulder.

Bad left side muscular shoulder pain with limited range of movement and some trouble grasping things. Hard to lift my are above my shoulder plus other limitations to range of movement.

Sucks for climbing combine ladders and such that I have to do this time of year.

If I had to put a time on it-maybe the last 3 weeks.

The only thing I can think of is that I generally sleep on my left side. Even if I don't start that way-I end up that way.

After 58 years-the stuff starts piling up I guess.

I am reasonably confident that it is not left side pain associated with a heart attack and such. Internet searches describe a different style of pain for that.

Arthriris, bursitis...Jeff can't lift his arms very high without pain. Had the injection couple years back which didn't last. Niece had shoulder surgery for similar stuff.
Granted, Jeff is 73, niece is 58.
Well, then

I had the same thing happen, same side. Came on over a few weeks, couldn't raise my arm even shoulder high. Bought a new mattress, went away virtually over night. Ymmv.
