I would never rib anyone about lightning strikes having spent an hour in a bus on a golf course while the lightning and thunder rumbled around us.

I would never rib anyone about lightning strikes after having spent more than two hours during a thunderstorm in a car with no windshield and a power pole on top of the roof. For a year after that, if I had to drive toward lightning on the distant horizon, I would start shaking.

Don't worry, there's no lightning at the Sony studios in Culver City.

That's good to hear, but I do need lightning to strike once by telephone before they'll let me inside the place.

Doesn't it take 1.21 Gigawatts to power all those monitors and Alex's Teleprompter?

I think they use thousands of hamsters on wheels. All the hamsters who escaped from Sonny ran to Sony.

Aren't there any squirrels in LA?

Dear Mr. S. Hamster,

The oppression of squirrels is nothing to joke about. We at the National Squirrel Appreciation Society do not take such suggestions lightly. We would suggest that if you and your squishy cousins are feeling oppressed it is inappropriate to foster the oppression of your long tailed cousins. Rodents of the World Unite! Solidarity is the only answer.

Sincerely,

Your friends at NSAS.

You have a good side? The acne can't be any worse. And what's with that hole at the lower left? Is Martian anatomy that different?

Gonzalez also played for the Tampa Bay Rays, Boston Red Sox, New York Mets and Milwaukee Brewers. He made a combined 24 appearances for the Mets and Brewers in his final major league season in 2006.
I haven't researched it, but I don't think he played for the Rays. More likely the Devil Rays.

He also played for the Cubs as Jeremi Gonzalez. Nobody named Geremi ever played for the Cubs....

He was one of many who failed at throwing a knuckleball.
