I need a life

#1 Post by Beebs52 » Wed Aug 14, 2024 3:27 pm

Watching too many commercials.

But.......
Why are all the diabetes commercials composed of people dancing jauntily or prancing down the street jauntily extolling the virtues of Weygovy or Jardiance while not maybe singing about what they're eating.
Why are all the commercials the same?
I did notice they replaced the really loud gal.

I mean, let's have some raspy coughing peeps trying to sing about smoking cessation...
Well, then

I'm just glad they've gotten away from the ones where the dog was blamed for your asthma, or worse, the dog was sad because you are sad. I want them to leave the dogs out of the people commercials (I kind of like the ones for dog food).

The exception is Subaru, especially when they flash back to the dog being a puppy to show how old your car is, in a good way.

Too many singers who can’t sing, and dancers who can’t dance.
