Say goodnight, Dick....
Sorry, I couldn't resist. I loved Laugh In when it reran on Nick at Nite back in the late 80's/early 90's.... and I wasn't even old enough to understand most of the 60's humor.....

Wow. We just talked about him last night. I had "Flying Fickle Finger of Fate" as an answer in a family game of 'Scatergories'.

He was just on a segment of Most Outrageous TV Moments this past Friday night. It was on that show where celebrity couples try to guess what the other said and one of them is in a little soundproof room but you can see them on a little TV screen under their spouse. Anyway, I remember remarking that Bob Newhart was the only one living in this scene (Burt Convy, Dick Martin and some other dead dude were there). I guess I was off by a day.

I had no idea that Martin was still alive or that Convy was dead.
He was young -- only 57. It was a brain tumor.

Many people were surprised to learn this.
They didn't think Convy had a brain.

Let's give him credit for making more money on television than the rest of us put together.
