Another Jake Gyllenhaal Remake
Fresh off his successful (but mediocre) remake of Road House, Jake Gyllenhaal is remaking another popular film from the same era. It's Presumed Innocent, which starred Harrison Ford as a District Attorney suspected of murdering his mistress. It was based on a best selling novel by Scott Turow, who was John Grisham before Grisham. This version will be an eight-hour limited series on Apple TV, premiering in June. One major reason for the success of the original version was the surprise ending, which I won't spoil. David E. Kelley is the showrunner and wrote six of the eight episodes. He's also the writer/showrunner for the current Netflix limited series, A Man in Full with Jeff Daniels, based on Tom Wolfe's novel.

Re: Another Jake Gyllenhaal Remake
We can only hope he’ll rock the same Julius Caesar haircut that Harrison Ford donned in the original.
