Actress best known for her roles in 50s and 60s films including The Young Lions, Peyton Place, Robin and the 7 Hoods, and Hombre. She was also one of the few remaining villains from the Batman TV series, playing Nora Clavicle, a supposed women's rights leader who gets named police commissioner.

The part about Batman villains intrigued me so according to Wikipedia, the only ones left are Joan Collins (The Siren), John Astin (Riddler #2), Julie Newmar (Catwoman), and Lee Meriwether (Catwoman in the Batman movie made at the time).
