I was looking at the Texas high school basketball results yesterday.
How are the divisions - 1A, 2A, etc. determined? I figure it's size but what's the limit for each class?

It is by size of the school. There is even a breakdown to Division I and II by size within class, for football playoffs.
There is 1A through 6A. It is by school so sometimes schools in the same district are in different classes.
