House of Cards on Netflix

I’m just getting around to watching this series, which aired from 2013 to 2018. First off, I know the Kevin Spacey aspect of it is creepy, but he and the rest of the cast are terrific. The first six episodes were directed by heavyweights David Fincher, James Foley and Joel Schumacher (2 each) and they really deliver.

I know Spacey gets the boot later in the series (and rightly so), but in the meantime, I’ll admire the work of Robin Wright, Kate Mara and the others as they take us through the often shady back room deals of our nation’s capital.

It's binge-worthy, for sure.

Retirement has its benefits!
