Yes, the earth moved for me too.
I was standing in my 19th floor office at the time. The shaking was perceptible but quite gentle. It looks like it was a 4.2 with an epicenter about 50 miles east of here. --Bob

I remember pics falling onto the floor all the time when we were in Huntington Beach. Lights swinging etc.

Nothing that dramatic today. The only earthquake I've ever experienced that was that severe was the 1994 quake, which was the day before we were scheduled to start a jury trial against Microsoft for patent infringement.
Even though the earthquake knocked down part of Interstate 10 (a major route connecting the city's West side with downtown, where the courthouse is located), the trial started the next day as scheduled. About a month later, we got our verdict against Microsoft. The jury awarded our client (Stac Electronics, for those who care) $120 million. --Bob

I remember your post.
Funnily, if that's a word, we were in Rochester, working for Kodak, when one morning we were awakened by a jumping bed, with a cat saying Not Me! and pictures banging against walls.
It had an epi in Maine or something, but was bigger than anything we had in Cali.

It was about 7.4 miles northwest of Malibu and had an intensity of 4.6.
