Thanks to a trio of missed games, Earl made this year's contest a lot closer than usual.... but in the end, she preserved the LSWE's competitive unbalance by making it sixteen contests now that have still only been won by three different players, one who is sadly no longer with us, and the other who sat out entirely for the first time since the inaugural game in 2008. Also of note, melly missing the January 30th game may have cost her a chance at pulling off the upset anyway, as she lost 12 attendance points for sure, and with those added in would have finished just 32 points back. mrkelley had the high score in that game with 34, so you never know..........
